You may understand some of the patterns showing up in your life but still feel unsure how to change them. Maybe you overthink conversations, worry about disappointing others, question your reactions, or feel overwhelmed by your emotions. Even when you know something logically, your mind and body may still respond in ways that leave you feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck.

You may also be wondering where these reactions come from and how earlier experiences continue to shape the way you feel, connect, and respond today.
I help clients better understand the patterns behind their emotions, relationships, and reactions. Together, we can explore how childhood experiences, attachment, thoughts, emotions, and nervous-system responses may be affecting your life now.

Inner-child work is an important part of my approach. We may look at the parts of you that learned to keep others happy, stay guarded, hide emotions, or take responsibility for everyone else. With greater understanding and compassion, you can begin building healthier boundaries and responding to yourself in new ways.
Therapy can help you feel less controlled by overthinking, fear, shame, or old coping patterns. Over time, you can build a stronger understanding of yourself, feel more confident in your needs and boundaries, and move through relationships with greater clarity and self-trust.

About Me

Bekah is a Master’s-Level Practicum Student completing her Master of Arts in Counselling

Psychology through Yorkville University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Speech-

Language Pathology from Brigham Young University and worked as a Speech-Language

Pathologist–Limited in Arizona school systems for seven years. Through this work, she gained

extensive experience supporting children and families, adapting services to individual needs, and

collaborating with parents, educators, and other professionals.

Bekah’s passion for attachment and inner-child healing is shaped by both her professional

education and her personal understanding of how early family relationships can influence self-

worth, emotional expression, and connection with others. She understands that caregivers may

do their best while still being unable to provide the emotional safety or connection a child needs.

This perspective informs the compassion and curiosity she brings to helping clients explore

childhood wounds, unmet emotional needs, and protective patterns that may continue to affect

their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Her other areas of interest include trauma, grief,

parenting, adolescent mental health, boundaries, and relationship patterns.
