Many people come to therapy with a clear understanding of why they are struggling but still feel unsure about how to move forward. You may recognize the patterns, know where they began, and still find yourself repeating them. Therapy can help bridge the gap between insight and meaningful change.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client. Together, we explore the experiences and patterns contributing to your current concerns while developing realistic strategies that fit your life, strengths, and goals. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood while also gaining tools they can use outside of therapy.

Areas of focus/specialties

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor and a graduate of the University of Lethbridge’s Master of Education in Counselling Psychology program. I am currently awaiting approval of my Provisional Psychologist registration.

I work with teens, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotional regulation difficulties, stress, identity concerns, relationship and communication challenges, ADHD, autism, chronic illness, male infertility, and adjustment to becoming a new father.

Therapeutic approaches and modalities

My therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Existential Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, and the Gottman Method.

About Me

My background includes work in community mental health and non-profit settings, where I supported individuals experiencing complex mental health concerns, psychosis, substance use, disability, housing instability, and significant life stress. My roles involved assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, de-escalation, advocacy, service coordination, and collaboration with health-care professionals. This experience strengthened my ability to support clients navigating both emotional concerns and complicated life circumstances.

I have also worked in mental health system navigation, helping individuals identify appropriate services and connect with resources that matched their needs. My academic background includes research experience in social neuroscience and participation in EEG research through the Nash Social Neuroscience Laboratory at the University of Alberta.
